Specialist Interior Design | Kitchens, Bathrooms, Bespoke Joinery & Interiors
The decisions made during the architectural planning stage will have a lasting impact on how your home ultimately functions.
Our Architectural Plan Review provides a specialist interior design perspective on your proposed new build, extension or renovation before the internal layout is finalised.
Working from your architect’s plans, we consider how the proposed rooms will actually be used and furnished — looking beyond the footprint of the building to consider furniture, kitchens, bathrooms, storage, cabinetry and everyday circulation.
The objective is simple: to identify opportunities and potential problems while they are still relatively easy to address.
We assess your proposed plans with consideration for:
Where we identify an opportunity to improve the interior layout, we will explain our recommendation and highlight it for discussion with your architect or relevant project professional.
Architectural Plan Review is an advisory review service rather than a detailed interior design package.
It does not include:
Where detailed design is required, Muse Design can develop the relevant areas through our Specialist Design or New Build & Renovation Interior Design services.
The ideal time to undertake an Architectural Plan Review is once your initial architectural plans have been developed but before the internal layout is finalised and before construction begins.
Early review gives you the greatest opportunity to explore potential improvements before decisions become more difficult or costly to change.
Any recommendations affecting the architectural, structural or regulatory design of the property should be reviewed and incorporated by your architect, engineer or other appropriately appointed project professional.
